Hey! I’m Jimmy, an experienced CPA driven to build a business that simplifies tax preparation and inspires individuals to think differently about their personal finance.

With 17+ years (aka ‘tax seasons’, as us CPAs track it) delivering tax services to a wide range of business and individual clients, I am experienced in and passionate about helping anyone interested in improving their personal tax, financial, and/or entrepreneurial lives!

You may be wondering, ‘why the name "FIRE CPA for Hire?"' The ‘FIRE’ stands for Financially Independent, Retired Early, which is a recent financial movement of sorts. The FIRE movement has helped many, myself included, realize a high salary is not required to become wealthy, and we are not required to wait until traditional retirement age to retire - or at least 'rewire' our careers and lifestyles - to intentionally build a life aligned with our core goals and motivations. Over the past two decades, I developed a passion for taxes, entrepreneurship, and the concepts of financial independence and decided it was time to take action by ‘rewiring’ my own career and life and launch my own business. This is why I decided to start FIRE CPA for Hire (and named it as such).

Outside of my career, I enjoy fitness (running and cross-training), love cheering on my favorite local sports teams (the Indiana Hoosiers, Indiana Pacers, and Indianapolis Colts), and enjoy attempting to write and record music on my guitar at home. I volunteer at my church as a member of the host team and would love to travel to more state and national parks in the coming years. And as you can tell from the rest of my bio, I am passionate about financial independence and the freedom it can offer to anyone interested in it!
